I'm sitting here with a pen and pad tracing out a basic layout of "The Last Patrol" that I'd like to try to map.

I was only able to find this music video that shows the episode on youtube.

Does anyone know if its possible to make a nice night map, maybe even a moonlit one? Or should I just make it day time?

Also does anyone know the name of this town?

I think the town's called Hagenau, I watched that episode a few weeks ago and remember googling the place name.
Night-time lighting is easy, just set the brightness and ambient to blue - you can have the brightness settings as high as a daytime map, all you need to change is the lighting colour and the skybox. Well-lit maps usually get played more, but as long as you keep the brightness up it shouldn't put off too many people.

ya custom nighttime maps are a very tough sell !
