dod_tunisia and dod_rive playtest Sat. 9th @ 9EST

The DoD-Federation will be hosting a test of these two maps next saturday. If you are interested in participating, please register on dod-federation.com. The download link will be posted there prior to the test, and nowhere else.

Dod_tunisia is JakeParlay's new map. As its name suggests, Jake is going for an Northern African theme. This will be the very first test, and as such the important thing to test will be the gameplay.

dod_rive is my new map, and is bordering completion (I know I've said this many times now). The FPS issues in the last playtest made me delay the release, but things should be better now. skdr is making some custom props which may or may not be included in this playtest, but will also help in the future (final version of the map).

The map is set in a very foggy village in the Marne area. A rather small village, with open spaces for long range fighting along the riverbed. Assault classes will need to cut through the village to make it on the other side.

Date: Saturday Dec 9th 2006

Time: 9 PM EST

Server: 217.160.252.220:27015 907th DOD:S Friendly Fire

The maps download link will be posted soon in the "Test Map Download" forum on dod-federation.com

Please remember never to share tested maps around. If these maps were releasable, they'd already be.

Hope lots of guys will be joining us, the more the merrier :)
