This is a newer version without the changed MOTD, sorry guys was an experiment but after reading some admins comments we have removed this.....

I'll put it up on our server, see how it goes!

If you rename it you may come across some players already with that mapname from when we were testing it who get a bsp differs error when joining your server.

The MOTD is only altered for this map and does not effect anything else, the only times people will see it is when this map is playing.

We were experimenting with this and did'nt intend to include it in the release.

I have the same concern. My MOTD screen displays the server rules, contact info, etc. When you override my MOTD, you basically eliminate my ability to communicate the critical info about my server to players. Is there anyway you could eliminate this feature or should I just remove your map from my server? Could you possibly incorporate this screen in the Map info screen instead?

For any server admins who do not want the MOTD that comes with the map heres a version with it removed....

With the current necessity of posting info wrt cl_restrict_server_commands 0 in our server MOTD, this helps greatly.

BTW, you are aware that if somebody played this on a server that had the motd version and they goto one playing the version without the motd it will give them an error telling them their map is different.

Instead of going through the hassle of telling our population to go find it and delete it we have just renamed the map on the server so it downloads again. Thank God it is a small download.

What did I miss this looks exactly like a map we have had running on our server for months now called dod_sherman_b7 ? is this the same map and or mapper ?

Yes same map and mapper but I have fully optimised it and changed the name as the original maker of dod_sherman did not, how shall I put it, approve of the name.

The new version has been getting a lot of good reviews from servers playing it, so try it out.
