Hey guys, iw as wondering if any of you are willing to make a new German Sniper rifle just to replace the Kar98k scoped. I was thinking the Gewehr type 42 (i think) There is a model in the forums that needs to be skinned and animated. If any one could do that, it would be AWESOME
Also, anybody want to make some ANZACs?? they can be skins or models but we NEED some ANZACs!! I know its not historically accurate but hey, its just a bit of fun ;)
EDIT: sorry guys wrong board to post this up on:P can someone move it to requests??? i thought i was in there ealread :P

I would love aussie models too :) But we might have to wait for the guys at ham and jam to come up with their mod I suppose, dods is all about us and german troops, no brits even :(
I think the problem is if you did make a Aussie/Canadian...whatever model you won't be able to use it anyway... you can only adjust skins (Others who know more can comment more about that) a aussie model without the slouch hat...forget it :D
I saw some Canadian models someone made, they look ok.... but still looks like a us player model.
Maybe we could get around the problem embedding the models/sounds/graphics in a maps bsp file? I don't know... I have not had a lot to do with source mapping and models, it hurts my brain. I prefer to wait for other mods and let dods just be what it is... us vs germans.

spambrat, I told you this on DoDCC forums, The G43 cannot replace the K98 at all. Why?
K98 - bolt action rifle
G43 - semi-automatic
