Question About Teleporters

Hey Guys,

I am working on a fun map and in it I have to areas that either team will spawn into, and then they will need to enter the teleporter to go to the firefight.

I have used teleporters before, so i know how to make them work. This time though I am trying to set up the teleporters to be random (which I have done with much success before), however for some reason I cant get it to work this time around.

Essentially the 2 spawn rooms have 1 large teleporter trigger each, and as of right now they are set to randomly choose either all odd #'d info_targets (allies) or even #'d info targets (axis). The problem is that they all seem to be spawing on top of each other.

My brother came over today and we lan tested it, and both teams are spawning to the same info_target.

I hope this makes sense, and I hope someone out there can set me straight on setting up the spawns to work right.

The trick is using 2 main teleporter triggers, when normally i would only use 1.

(this map definitly needs to be using only 1 teleport trigger per room...but i cant have them all spawning in the same spot)

As always, any and all help is hugely appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Well you don't use info_target... you use a teleport destination

I know you figured it out but i figured i would post anyway

yeah i had tried it with the teleport destination and couldnt get it to work that way either.

I can whip up a teleporter with random "spawn" points no problem if im only using 1 teleporter...but I was trying to use 2 teleporters with 16 random "spawns" each into the same area, and it wasnt working right.
