a little request to the devs :)

i was thinking.... steam collects data about the amount of wins on each map as seen in the war status report (http://www.dayofdefeat.com/stats/maps.html) , right? is that data collected for every map people play on a authenticated server? if so, it would be an amazing help to all the mappers which have betaversions of their map out if they would be able to see those results somewhere. you could much better balance out the map than if you test with a clan or just random people.

so, here's my humble request: please extend the war report by a few more pages, so we can see how the map works for ALL players.

thank you for reading :)

great idea! numbers never killed anyone - the more the merrier.

Yes I also think this would be good. But "please extend the war report by a few more pages" is a bit optomistic considering how many custom maps there are and the fact that you're essentially asking for each and every one to be listed.

well, you woulnd't have to klick "next page" if you don't want to :P

i think having only the top 10 maps on the first page is a good idea and shouldn't be changed... they're there on that page for a reason.

i was more thinking about additional pages as a mappers tool and not as a top 300-list of played maps. actually, they don't even need to be in the war report... heck, those additional pages could even be plain html-files without styling. just pure numbers...

A great idea and something i was thinking about yesterday.

It would be useful, not only to mappers, but also for server admins.

Id love to see the map list extended as far as possible. Cheers
