Owre Road - dod_ower_v1

The Americans and Germans have been fighting in Alostbu (this map isn't Alostbu2) for the last 3 days. After countless stalemates the Axis are planning a surprise strike thought the Owre Road. The Germans must advance to the backfields and plant TnT on select Allied tanks, so when they rejoin the assault tommorow they can be detonated. The Allies must repel what seems to be a German offensive at their flank.

Thanks if you mirrored the file.

The basic objectives are for the Axis to plant two tnt packages in 7:30, the Allied must defend the map for this time OR they can cap a 4 person flag by Axis spawn.

I lose hosting in less than a week so if someone would like to mirror these jpgs and the other ones here (http://www.mappingfront.com/ower/) please email me at rozdower@rozdower.com. Also this map have a HL generated overview, but not one of the spiffy new WW2 map-looking overviews, if you would like to make one for me that be cool :)

Just gave it a quick run-around. I like the map very much - I have a thing for countryside maps. It seems to be very well-made.

I have a few friendly suggestions, take 'em or leave 'em:
-Use the func_wall and cr_material texture method for clipping models so you get the correct particle effect when you shoot them.
-There are some tank objective icons used in Zalec, you could make a directory "sprites\obj_icons\dod_ower_v1" and copy them over and then set the dod_control_point entities to use "Custom 1" for their icons.

Other than that, the map looks great.

I think that's a typo in your map .cfg it says Owre instead of Ower.

Very nice work. Has a behind the beach feel because of the textures. Some small details to give it a unique indentity would be nice. Sorta like the suze sign in ramelle, cafe in donner. Maybe a road sign a saying "owre"?
