Allied forces have been using a winery as a temporary stronghold. As the Axis forces try to eliminate the Allied HQ, reinforcements from both sides fight to secure the estate and surrounding area. The Allies must defend the supply crates and the half-track.

Just ran through it, you have a stunning eye for gritty realism! Its quite a striking map, didn't get a chance to play a match with anyone but I will certainly try.

you did a great job, the map is pure fun to play and good looking too.

only the outdoor-detonation area is a little bit too wide/open, everytime the bomb got placed there i (Allies) felt very lost when entering that area because there are so many places to hide for the axis.

i think good teamplay is necessary here :)

I could see this being an issue...

I think getting to learn the map would help, but after i get a chance to see how things play out, i'm sure there will be plenty of tweaks to fix things like that.

The layout was created as a flag map, but luckily it didnt need a lot of changing to work as a det map.... but more does need to change.

hm, while playing i got an error message: engine error, world model not yet setup - then hl2 crashed. my brother got the same message on his pc while d/ling the map from the server. is that a map or serverside problem?

hmm. strange. havnt heard or seen anything like that yet.

I hope it's a server problem, but if anyone else gets it, let me know.

played on another server, didnt experience any problems.
so i guess it was serversided :)

Was it our server that gave you the problem, because I had several clan members tell me the same thing. I was able to DL the map from our server and play, as were many other people, but just as many were getting errors.

Aside from that, it's a great map. Personally, I think the windows overlooking the truck from the warehouse are a bit too small and high for their own good, and MGs have a very limited field of vision from there.

it has to be one of the custom models. it was probably the custom wine bottle model. it being my first model, i think i need to fix the files. when this season of CAL is coming to an end and im gettiing ready to release a B3, i'll probably need someone with model experience to check them out.

maybe it has to do with how the server sets up the file for download?

I dont really know how any of that stuff works though.

It may be that the success or failure depends on whether the custom model is used in another map.

The sucessful users have the other map that has the model and the unsuccessful ones don't have that "other" map.

Just a thought...
