well due to the pic I stuck this in previews. My teeth hurt, I feel nautious, I think I'm sick, and after much searching I still haven't found a way to make the normal maps work in the Valve SDK (normal maps also happen to control the phong - yippee). I feel like crap so I'm done searching if anyone knows where the answer is (if there is one) please point me in that direction.

And I miss my ATI Omega Driver controls. The default Nvidia one blow. I manually changed the settings to AA 8x / AF 8x and it didn't do squat, just stayed at default. Pfffffttttt.....

It's really random and inconsistent as to when the normal maps work and don't work. I have a player model compiled for HaJ which with one set of textures shows the normal map and doesn't with another set. The textures are exactly the same format, etc.

I'm starting to get a suspicious feeling that it might in fact be something to do with the size of the various maps in relation to each other but I haven't had time to confirm it yet.

So, these will be dirty versions of your Gefreiter Josef and Private Joe skins with phong? If so, yay.:) :D
