Hi!
I want to change the player model animation in DOD:S.
Please, give me advise how I can decompil original dod_player_shared.mdl? When I try to do this by Mdl-decompiler, the program is crash after decompil about 1000 files. Some sequence files are stay not decompiled, and QC-script has not full and broken.
Please, help me to solve this trouble.
Or can anyone tell me the names of all animations, and the names of events used by DOD:S engine for working animations?

Thanks.

(Sorry for my bad english :) )

You can't successfully decompile the animations.

It's a limitation of the decompiler and the guy who wrote it has either quit maintaining it or dissapeared as it hasn't been updated forever. A guy called Erix is trying to fix some bugs but he's just hacking at the original EXE of Canonfodder's version.

OK.
How can I get the list of all animations and events without decompilling dod_player_shared.mdl ?

Use HLMV.

You can list them there and using the options box you can see hidden and activity names. Events are a little more tricky.

BTW, I hope you realise what you're getting into. The blend sequences alone for DoD:S are going to make you want to pull your eyes out.
