Changelog
-Added a second route for axis, and a ladder on allied side of the bridge (keep your eyes out when below the bridge for ladders!)
-Changed flags around, should be much more balanced, the map is still difficult for both teams in its very nature.
-Mini-map added, much thanks to Dustin Diamond for being a consistent partner in the process of polishing and releasing all of Anemia's versions.
-Innumerable visual, auditory and gameplay fixes. Anemia has never looked better.

-HDR -final compiled (excellent HDR ambience on the map)
-Even more optimized (this was neccessary as the map has been visually upgraded, your performance might not see much change from b2)

Man am I glad for this to be finally done! While it was fun helping you nurture your baby, there comes a point when all children have to grow up and you just gotta let go. :) Congrats!

The attention to detail in this map is fantastic! Certainly better than most any other custom map I've seen, and definitely rivals the stock maps. Hey, at least yours doesnt have any magical floating props, which puts you a step ahead of at least 3 valve maps (jagd, colmar, donner...).

Now let's get this up and running on some servers! I cant wait to use my insider knowledge to bust some heads.

You map for Insurgency?? Yeesh what ever happened to that, all of a sudden their website's down and all that hard work seems for naught.

Well, if whatever you made for that mod is as nice as this map, they'll be in for a real treat if they ever release.

Hi I'm running this on my server @ 82.192.84.227:22010 it has FastDownload on!

I am ensuring that this new map gets played alot! Ill let you know on the feedback I get.

Its looking really great and was fun too.

After just playing it @ Optimized Speeds and my server tick rate is 100 its a little jerky!

Is anyone else getting this ?

Great work FMPONE...the map reminds me a bit of one of my older faves, dod_saints. Bridge cap with alternate routes, plus dod_anemia has lots of vertical aspects to it. HOOAH! :cool: Added to our server's vote-able map list.

Was nice playing with you on our server today. I was wondering what you thought about it when running with a full 32 players? We have found that it becomes a real bottleneck at the bridge - then a battle of the snipes starts.

The Axis hold the bridge about 80% of the time.

Good map.

Yes. Unfortunately the rest of the map looks so good and fun or else we wouldn't be saying this! Haha. I really haven't been able to get into any firefights outside of the bridge or the choke by the door that connects to the lower part below the bridge.

Its kind of a simple map, I wanted it to be a graphics platform for some crazy vertical action, the sniping thing is kind an unitended consequence. It wasn't as bad in b2 without the opened platform and for that reason I guess you could say that the two (final version and b2) maps aren't really the same at all.

But I took a chance with it, and having played in a few well coordinated rounds I know that 2-3 allies sneaking across axis can win the round soundly. I guess give people time to learn strategies, I know I never do things right the first time around.

Anemia is getting some great feedback from our server (you can read it directly here (http://www.82ndallamericans.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4608) on our forums), and we've had a good amount of traffic when it's been playing...maybe 16 out of our 20 slots, which isn't bad for a custom map. :cool: Lots of people like the ability to climb up onto the lower roofs, and one thing in particular I like is the long snowy slope down to the riverbed from the Axis side. It's such a simple-looking thing, but it's very natural and just fits in really well.

It's a well known problem when you play with the tickrate 100. In DoD doors can't open, players get stucked strange places and so on ... you can in details read why it's a bad idea to use tickrate 100 here http://www.serverwiki.org/index.php/Advanced_Tickrate

@Dark Dog - this map took sturm/merderet/ramelle as a base to start from.

Great map but I had to take this off my server.... I keep getting people saying map differs from server from everyone when the map changes and also it empties the server. I know I did have a older type version of this map but it had the same name as your updated version which is causing the problem... Sorry, I reccomend u change the name and theres the fix.....
