2 Qs: .Res & HTML map descriptions

I need help with 2 problems,
first : What's the best way to go about making a .res file (Since custom obj sprites and html descriptions can't be used in BSP packing). The programs listed [url=http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/.res] suggest only CS:S and HL1 .res makers are avalible.
Second: My HTML map description isn't working right, It just simply gives the 'page not found' error. I have the HTML file, a basic copy of colmar with different text, under the name dod_vigilance_rc1_english. So why doesn't it work?
Cheers!

I have used this to make a .res file: http://halflife2.filefront.com/file/HalfLife_2_CS_Source_ResMaker;34374
It works fine for dod:s for me. What I do is make a fake dod directory on my desktop and put all custom content in the proper folders. Some like this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Name\Desktop\dod
C:\Documents and Settings\Name\Desktop\dod\maps
C:\Documents and Settings\Name\Desktop\dod\materials
C:\Documents and Settings\Name\Desktop\dod\resource
Then point this program to that fake dod directory and it will make the res file. I always add a res file entry to the res file so all users get that res file.
No experience with the maphtml stuff.
I don't know how to help with your description; it sounds like a directory error or something. If you need any help with the actual HTML itself though, let me know (that goes for anyone, I guess).

Sweet I'll have a go at that.
And with the map description thing, I assume that the file is in the right place just not working right or something because if it was in the right place it would show the .txt map description instead. wurd.
including custom content in bsp files is really easy with Pakrat: http://www.geocities.com/cofrdrbob/pakrat.html

Yeah it might be a pain, setting up the fake directories, if you have alot of custom content. But you would have to do it anyhow when you want to make your zip to distribute it.
