Sorry to say this, but I'm retiring from skinning DoD:S (and other games).
For those of you waiting for my SPR skinpack...it is left unfinished, and I may release it one day.

well.... my #1 competitor (for lack of a better word) is hanging it up. Crap. Means more pressure on me to put out high quality content :eek: Anyway, I know how it goes Cruz, and so does anyone else here who makes quality maps, models, textures or sounds. This stuff we do ain't easy, and we're doing it for free. To put out good stuff eats up a LOT of time, and sometimes that time needs to be put to other uses' in one's life. I've quit at least twice in the last 5 years! ROFL

Well good luck in whatever it is you'll be doing and thanks for all the hard work!

Well, if anyone is wondering, I quit because as Wile said...it takes up a lot of my time.

Maybe I'll be back. If you know me, I'll probably release a skin here or there without any "heads up." I skin when I get free time, so just wait until the holiday season...

Anyways, I'll still be on the boards commenting. I'm not quiting DoD:S all together now.

Good to hear, hopefully your passion can ignite again to get you inspired to jump headlong into skinning. (time permitting of course)

I have an idea of how much work it takes to make a
skin from scratch, and let me tell ya, it aint easy. All
I've ever done was reskins and that takes a day or
two for me to finish, test, and do touch-ups. You got
some skills cruz, and your skins were the first that I
ever skinned :p
