Today i fell in love with mapping, and wanted to make level in the mountains and dont know what its called. But i want to make unlevel ground how do i do that. I hope you understand what im trying to do

THANK YOU THANK YOU I MENT TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW I FOUND OUT WHAT IT WAS AS WE SPEAK IM MAKING A MAP. But, there is on more question on my mind.I see maps in dod:s with like a road made out of dirt then right off to the side of the road is grass how do you blend something like that???

the actual tire tracks are from an overlay, called dirttrack01a (and 01b, which is the end of the tracks). Search for it in the texture browser.

Otherwise, the blend between dirt and grass (or grass and rock, etc) is from Alpha channels on the displacement. Most of the textures that allow blending start with "blend". Once on a displacement, you can paint the alpha (the other texture, basically) using the texture tool.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I LOVE YOU !!!!:D Well sence im here I need one more thing at the moment im trying to get a house that you can run in ad out of. Also i would like to put a flag in there or better yet a cap zone. Are there any tuts that show you that???


I almost forgot !!!

Are there any ways to make an invisibel wall i got this fence to chart out the map and dont want people to go past it :D
