Where's the SMALL HUD?

questions

I saw this for download a while ago, but i've just reinstalled dods..

I think it was just called 'small hud'.. I've searched and cannot find it.

Does anyone know here I can find a hud that really shows as little as possible?

Not in that it takes elements away, just that it's a bit cleaner and neater..

Any suggestions? Default is just pathetic..

You obviously didn't use the Search button.

I used it, typed in "small hud" and it was there.

Tests the nerves, doesn't it?

Of course, Dash is correct. You did something wrong or there was a brief internet hiccup. Next time please be more specific in your question. People can't automatically know everything you've already tried, or exactly what you are looking for, unless you give detail of the steps you have already taken.

If you have a screenshot of the HUD before you uninstalled DOD:S, that would be much more helpful in letting people know what you are looking for.

I said that I'd searched.

I said what the name of the hud was.

I also mentiond I'd already tried that site but it was down..

Just forget it if it's so much trouble..

And the pictures on the links in that thread STILL don't work..

Just forget it. Loosen up ffs. You just assume I'm an idiot. I searched this forum, other websites and asked if that one wouldn't work where I could go next..

My site went a bit off a couple of times today.

questions, there are lots of small huds :)

dodfrance.com (http://www.dodfrance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10356) has a good list in their forum.

bazooka's VER3 (http://www.dayofdefeat.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=61243&highlight=hud) completes the list.

My stuff is here. (http://www.dayofdefeat.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=61243&highlight=hud)

And I think the problem is as far as we know, the only Small Hud that's been through here, and the most used, is Insane's hence why we all helped to point you in that direction. It's literal name was, surprise, "Small Hud," and seeing as that fits your obscure descriptions, it's exactly what we helped you to find. Insane also gave a good list of stuff to pull through, not to mention his site alone has great tuts for HUD customizing.

Everything isn't hand-fed, but we always try our best, and that's pretty much as far as we can lay everything we have at our disposal at your feet...

I said what I thought was the proper name.. Surprise it was 'small hud'..

I also mentioned that the only link to the Small Hud was on a website that didn't work.

I ALSO said forget it.

I previously went through a bunch of HUDs, questions, and INsane's HUD is the only one that I know of called "Small HUD". Here is a link with working pictures (as opposed to Dash's one, earlier):

http://www.dodbits.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=14&Itemid=33

There's two versions on that page (scroll down). They're good stuff too, I must say.

You might find that the file you asked for (from what you say, it was simply called "smallhud") was broken due to the recent update, and so it might have been removed from the most popular hosting sites. So it simply may not exist anymore.

That's about as clearly as I can put it -- so now, you can consider the question forgotten.

Mal
