How can I turn off model consistency? I've edited my p_knife file, to make it a sword, so I need to know how to turn off the model consistency so I can test my work... let alone use it.

which in turn means...? I'm not very literate with stuff like that, all I'm wondering is how to turn it off, or can i not turn it off? You lost me with just saying its a server side option...

He means that the host (ie-'server') has an option to turn on/off model consistency, and by default it is on. So, you need to find yourself a server with it off or create your own server and turn it off manually.

This means one of two things; no one cares, or they just dont know. I'd guess that no one cares... which is fine...

Dude,
Chill!
You gave us ooh, all of 20 mins between posts before you accused us of not caring.
For your info its not listed in server.cfg and as not all of us run servers its likely not all of us know without a bit of research.
May I gently refer you to the server forum where people are more likely to know?

Unfortunately, if you hope to release those p_models, you'll find most people won't use them if it precludes them from playing on the majority of the servers out there.
