thx alot for this new gametype @ inkit!

i have released this tank map dod_snowtown_tank

Mission Briefing
The German force move with a strong offensive into the Ardennes. Between the frontier is a little snowy town. Both sides are moving
into town to defeat the other enemy Army.. The Wehrmacht has occupied the city with a heavy tiger tank.

Wehrmacht:
Escort the Tiger tank at all costs! If a Soldier walking behind the Tiger the Tiger is moving forward. The Tiger Stop at every sandbag, destroy them with a TNT package! When the Tiger past the last Allied flag the Wehrmacht wins!

U.S. Army:
Stop the Wehrmacht to move forward with the Tiger! Disarm the explosives on sandbags! Kill every Wehrmacht soldier behind the Tiger! You have not much time! 7:00 minutes!

arg now i wish i gotten my version out long ago. huess il have to dig it out and dust it off after finsihing my current project

thatll be great for snowtown though.

I like this game type more than the regular plant/diffuse maps.

Ok one BIG PROBLEM. You need TNT out side of spawn too. it sucks when two people are on each side and one has to die to get more TNT.

Also I keep geting stuck around the tank, I can not move or do any thing.

this is a model problem with Tiger. the models made for standing..not for moving...

i made little updates in Rc2 version

I agree this is a must

Also on listen server, the tank will move up to the first sandbag smoothly.
Detonation of first sandbag goes fine
Tank corners to the next street so its facing the second sandbag and then stops. It wont move any further.
I tried detonating the second sandbag and it still wont move.
Suicided and tried again, no go.
Tank is stopped

We played this map on [415] last night for about an hour and had a blast. The map went both ways, sometimes the allies won and sometimes the axis did.

There were a few minor glitches but overall it was some great gameplay.

the problem may have been that it was on a listen server.
But its nice to have another "tank" map. They are fun

This is a great map, I've played it a few times now.

They're imho not the "best gametype" but they surely offer a fun alternative!

^ Agreed, put the TNT on the exit of spawn on the other side of the sandbags. Also, the sandbags on the streets are a little too tall in most places which makes it difficult to use them for cover when you are trying to shoot the allies from behind them at the same time.

Nice looking map though, I like the rain, gives the map a nice atmosphere :)

I knocked the oil drum that's just outside of spawn up against the spawn sandbags - you can then use it to jump back into spawn to get more TNT.

the version2 have tnt outside the spawn and also spawnprotection on both sides! if you have more ideas just post it!

When do you plan to release version 2? I'd really enjoy the map a lot more if we had tnt outside spawn so the sooner the better ;)
