Ive made some requested changes again :) dod_solitude. FINAL RELEASE !! :) Ive put countless hours finishing the map reworked all the lighting again . This will be the last update..
The next Ver. Will be dod_advance it is a modified ver of solitude for those who dont remember

Change log 8/13/06
Fixed mini map again
Fixed flag cap timing to 1 sec for 1st 2 sec for 2nd 8 for double
Points are 11211
Added player clip throughout map
Added spawn protection & spawn ramp on Axis /There is no warning you enter opposing spawn and die .
Fixed arch doors made them wider less sticking
Added more war damage
Fixed spawn players pointing to exit
Fixed shadows & lighting on textures no more black textures for sure this time :)
This version dod_solitude will also be released in a night setting dod_solitude_midnight ......tommorow 8/14/06

the map is always too dark, impossible to play without gamma/brightness correction !

Oh well crank the gamma or wait till dod_advance solitude is done.
We had a huge beta and not even one comment on the brightness maybe you need to check your settings

Or maybe monitor brightness/contrast.

I tried the night version and that looks very good - just some small thing is disturbing - the small-map overview is completly missing - maybe a dark overview or some infrared overview would be nice.
mirrored it in my download section (http://www.woodquarter.org/phpbb_board/dload.php?action=category&cat_id=3) (hope that's ok for you)
PS: slope is very good map too - hope that i could play it today on full server - will be funny with 32 players :D

even if you used the default settings, as textures and colors are very dark, the map is very dark compare with donner for example !
So, I need to change my gamma and brightness when I play solitude, and it's the only map which needs to do that.
I think you must probably try to increase gamma and brightness of your map for better play !
I'm not the only person who saw that as you can read the comments of this news (french). http://www.dodfrance.com/news/10797/
Load donner and after load solitude : you will see that solitude is too dark to play :)
AS i use gammasutra (http://web.telia.com/~u36114907/Web/en/gammasutra.htm) , it's not a problem for me but not all players have an easy gamma corrector

So, if you made a CAL version for competitive play with brightness/contrast correction, reduce also the capture time of the last flag Axis and Allied by the minimum capture time possible :)
