Any way to get hud messages to work?

I've tried point_message and the env_hudhint entities and neither work... or maybe I'm not using them right. I'm trying to achieve an effect similar to what was commonly seen in 1.3, particularly with objective maps... for example, in Jagd when you'd walk by the tank and you'd get the message "protect these tanks at all costs" etc.

To my knowledge I don't recall seeing anything like this in Source so far, so I have my doubts, but I figured I'd check just incase.

env_hudhint does work indeed. I used it in Sora. You need to trigger it.

Although, without looking, I'm not sure this is the entity used in Jagd.

Ok I see... I haven't done much with trigger brushes outside of using them for dod_capture_area entities, so I suppose now is a better time than ever to get creative with them.

Yeah I'm not sure what entity was used for 1.3 Jagd but I never did any real old school DoD mapping so I'm not familiar with what entities are there.

Anyway, I'll try this out, thanks!
