I really like the atmosphere of this map. :)Originally posted by moroes
Each team have 32 spawns ;) I thought Valve changed it to only support 16 per side?
EDIT:
Just started up the map and ran around for a few minutes. I can tell you one thing: The ambient sounds are great.:)

Well I played through your map. It looks great! You did an excellent job of making the buildings look destroyed. Also, it's nice to see some new foliage models. Fog was great.
One thing i noticed, you are in desperate need of some areaportals in the buidings to optimize the map. Such a close-quarters map like that could run a lot faster. But it's still great.
Oh, I like the german yelling from inside the tank :)

Nice map but but certainly your map will be better without fog. I don't like map with fog.
made a second version without fog :)
yeah the fog give a very particular atmosphere but i don't like to play when I can't see buildings or enemies at 20 meters.

Really nice map and the fog brings an excellent atmosphere. I have not played it online yet but look forward to doing so. Nice work!

Needs optimization and an overview.
I don't care for fog often but whatever the mapper wants doesn't bug me, I'm happy you put in more spawns then needed though, makes me smile.

Exellent map, I just have a few things
1. Where did you get the distance sounds from, I love them. I was wondering if you used a soundpack or something.
2. There are a few huge boulders in the map, example are the two by the church on the side. It would be nice to be able to get on them. At this time you can not. For an assult map those are great ambush spots.
I love the fog, and the map looks great. You have done a great job on the map.

Well we played it for 40 minutes tonight with 32 players heres my thoughts...
The fog is highly annoying.
A overview is needed highly.
32 spawns per side is nice but 20 per side spaced nicely would be better as you are constantly all over each other. Also a second spawn exit would be nice.
When exiting the allied spawn and looking at the church the window textures go white for a second at different angles.
At the cafe near the axis spawn on the stairs there is an invisible barrier.
Thats all I can remember for now...optimize, optimize, optimize.
I played it tonight and it might be one of my new favorite customs.
I really did enjoy the fog, although I think it's max distance could be a little bit further away to be able to appreciate some of the larger combat areas.
At first it seemed to me that the map was oversized, but once it was full the map had a very epic feeling. I still think if a couple of the minor paths were eliminated then the epic feeling would remain while keeping combat more controlled.
Some of the more centered areas of the map did have some slow down... the fog helps boost fps, but not enough.
Good jobbbbbbb:D :D

Excellent map, i had a little run round it and i agree with the fog, you could make the max distance a little further away. And a overview would help alot ;)
Other than that i like it, putting it on our server :)

I ran around on this on an empty server. It looks good I am sure the fog has something to do with the fact that I got 130fps in a few spots. It really limits the distances so I assume that is adding to the fps. Snipers prolly won't like this one, but I think it is a pretty good map. Prediction this map will be ambush after ambush with periods of an mg locking down parts of the map. Should be pretty intense close in fighting with fights developing suddenly out of the fog.
