After "registering" leave it on for an hour or so... then it should work.

Milkshape periodically checks itself to see if its registered and writes the registration information down so that you can save.

It actually says in the documentation that once you have registered to leave Milkshape running for 2 minutes to give it time to register itself then to close it and start again.

However as you've paid for it you are entitled to some support and you can always mail Chumblasoft for support if its still not working.
