New maps: Poor Finition!!
I've played the two new maps that were given with the new objectives update.
Both Colmar and Jagd, but ESPECIALLY Jagd, have some nasty nasty prop placement! This kinda degrades the quality of the map, anyway for me it doesn, and I'm sure any other mapper would go "ok, these bugs are so light that they stand out like a sore thumb".
Jag, so far, has a lot of misplaced models especially with the awnings all over the map that seemed to have been put there in a rush! A lot of them don't even touch the walls and they just float there.
I attached an image to show how bad they hover in the air. There's also a lot of misplaced window frames that show the hole in the wall (There's a very evident one on the right building beside the flak gun, when you're in it (its next to the truck).
Are these going to get fixed? because they look really bad. Also, if anyone knows what I'm talking about, the doorframe bottom piece in donner near the small alley on the left of the axis spawn is still missing and creates a void as is it was a leak.

It looks like they might have moved the entire building after it was already built with the props in place. They dont usually snap to the grid very good when moving multiple props at the same time. Maybe they moved the building and didnt realize the props werent aligned properly.
It nice to know that im not the only one who gets distracted big time when I see a mappers mistakes. Especially from a pro like the Valve guys. It almost a curse from knowing how the whole mapping process breaks down. Most people would probably see something in a game and think "wow that looks cool". When I see something cool its usually "off to the editor to find out how they did that". It almost makes the games less fun.

i found a annoying bug with the whole Detonation gametype.
When the round is about to end and ur planting the bomb and the other bomb goes off,
When you Respawn you cant move... even when you change ur class, you need to like Re-Join the server. Dunno why this happens, it happens on Colmar to me.
Just thought i'd point it out cause its getting on my nerves atm.

You should probably send a bug report with the in-game report option so the devs know about that.

That's what I thought at first, but there's another lamp right next to me (didnt fit on screen) and that one is actually properly placed >_>

when aligning it to a brush in the 2-d view, there were probably so many lines that they got them mixed up. happens to me a lot. but im like you, so once I find something like that, I have to fix it right away

Yeah I always have to fix them as well, but to be honest, I think I've seen this kinda error in all official maps. Donner, as you walk out of allies spawn and turn right to your second flag: you'll see the window above you isn't aligned (or wasn't some time ago, maybe they fixed it)

i too have noticed a few in the new maps
even 1 displacement is not sewn !
and plenty of not alligned models
I know nobody can totally avoid map glitches like that, but the new maps are really badly polished compared to all the other stock maps, it seems they've skipped QC or something >_>
