First custom with obj. code

Who will be the first custom mapper to release an obj. map?
I know some of the top custom mappers had some projects on hold waiting for the update.

I might try to include it in dod_rive, but a) I need to see how it plays first and b) I doubt I'll be the first one by the time it comes out

The code isnt fully there yet but I have 2 maps that are pretty much just waiting for the objectives, not that I consider myself a top mapper :p

ultranew_b's push should be coming out soon. I think he said he was just waiting to add detonation code stuff.

We'll have to see if McJewel's problem is more widespread. In any case, it's fun to wonder but let's not rush things to see a "first custom det map".

Couple weeks i'm guessing before it comes to the public. Busy with RL stuff.

I've been looking at Colmar and Jagd and have it figured it out anyway.

I believe CoolHandLuke's map should be the first [quality] map. dod_longbow is nearing beta stage.

Not to say its rushed, but I've converted my tiger map to detonation mode and I should have it released in about 6 hours from now.

Tested it with the new code last night and it works perfectly :)

Until then check the releases forums in about 6 hours.

Not sure how the map layout will go with this mode but i guess we'll see.

MadMilo and I had allways had plans of making dod_ludendorff a demolition map. Where the Axis desperately trying to blow up the bridge and the Allies to capture it intact. Like the real battle of the Bridge at Remagen on March 7, 1945.

But we will release a beta 4 as a flag map, with the b3 bugs fixed and maybe with some of the feedback from this sunday beta test, before we start making ludendorff a demoliton map.

I removed the Middle tank, and replaced it with the explosive charges pickup point.

The Axis second is now a 222 that Allies have to blow and the axis 1st is an AA gun that Allies have to blow up.

The allies 2nd is an APC for the axis to blow up and the allies 1st is an AA gun that axis need to blow up.

Nothing too special. Until I can get new skins for the 222 and AA gun at axis they have snow on them too :(

Anyways, another hour or so and I'll have this baby online.

I've had a map in the works for the past two months that had the what we now know as Jagd-style "attack and defend" objective gameplay in mind since conception... only it will be the Allies on the offensive and the Germans on the defensive side. It's more or less half done... expect it sometime this summer.
