Thanks for the replies guys.... this project, although it was a first for me will be my last for a little while. As some of you may know, the final final version took a little extra time, as I now have a baby boy in our little family.
So for now my time and effort will be spent on him. But, who knows, I might be back for more mapping in the future... I sure enjoyed making the map.

was a very successfull test now :D
at the beginning we were only 16 players (too bad that many players are not interessted in waiting 2 minutes to download a custom map) but then the server filled after 5-10 minutes and after 20 minutes it was full with 30 players :D
i'm not sure if it was only because of skill from players but with less then 20 the axis had the controll and then with 25-30 players the axis had nearly no chance to even get the tank/bridge - the allied could rush 1-2 seconds faster there and then with grens they controlled it immediately and axis had no chance.
but the last 2 flags agains axis are hell - but was funny for both sides :)

How do you make this auto downloadable if you put this in rotation? my server kicks people off for not having it..

I'm not too sure on the server side of things,
But I would say that the autodownload needs to be the dod_tiger.BSP file only, not the dod_tiger.exe file from my webspace.
You would probably need to enable something to do with clients download from your server too (this i'm not sure how to set-up)
I'm sure there are server admins here that would know ;)
Hey Mav,
Love the map and really enjoyed participating in the playtesting :-)
What settings are you using for your compression in your self-installer ?
Using my standard settings with NSIS, I did a rebundle and got it down to 12MB. My rebundled version is here (http://www.box.net/public/static/h3dm2hmjp0.exe) .

Not too sure, i think it was the one that said "Best compression", or was it B2ZIP or somthing like that, anyway, what settings did you use???
That would be great if I could get it down to 12 MB
Thanks mate :)
Just checked and I'm using LZMA compression. The config option is:
SetCompressor LZMA
Yell if you want a look at the rest of the NSIS script & build environment I use to do my map rebundling.
Let me know how you go

I know its all been said but I just wanted to say, good job on this mav. The FPS has improved a lot since the last playtest I took part in, the design is great and its just an overall fun, well designed town map. Congrats!

Thanks for the compression info guys.
The auto extracting exe file on my website has been updated and now has the smaller 12mb file instead of the 22mb file.
For those of you who have downloaded the map already you DON'T need to download it again.
There have been NO changes to the maps BSP file, its just been compressed more for quicker downloads
