ok, i found all my old dod stuff, including the spork i used foir the allied knife, and the frying pan i used to the axis spade.
i was wondering if anyone would be able to remake these for source, heres some screenshots, if need be i can upload the models themselves.

you need to put a dent in it, or a bullet hole.

you want me to model a dent in it? i think its better of being skinned

oh man, thats sweet. so for whoever can skin that baby, think you could make it have 2 eggs and a couple (3 maybe) peices of bacon in the shape of a smiley face? that would be awsome, thats what i had wanted in 1.3, but the guy didnt want to reskin it, so i just accepted it how it was. but man, thats awsome. is there anyway you could maybe put a bullet hole in it through skinning alone? cause that could work. but i would say leave the model how it is, thats amazing. thanks!

I can try to skin it if you want. I'd need a base image to work with though.

ok thats all i can find.. wow... google "frying pan" in images... so many useless pictures... il try and get a pic of some of my frying pans at home for reference. and for the wood (that is what the handle is right?) i think the regular one for the spade would be fine, but darker to contrast the pan well

:-( the spade sound and the american knife sound are the same :-(
would it be possible to get 4 slightly different sounding files for the 4 blade_hit*.mp3?
Black Lotus

why not have the sound be you screaming "THIS IS YOUR BRAIN ON DRUGS!"
PanFrie
06-05-2006, 06:40 PM
lmao, very nice idea lotus. i really like the sound coyote made though, gonna make me chuckle every time someone gets owned with a spade. and the spade has a diff souind than the allied knife. since the allied knife is actually punching, it uses the same sound as the secondary on the thompson / mp40

Yes, but Panfrie you forget that if you are compiling your OWN model you can assign what ever sounds you want to it. Sooo... this model would work even for the allied knives.

really? i didnt forget that, i just never knew it :-P but i only wanna use it for the axis, i wanna find someone to make that spork still, i miss that model. as far as im concerned, the model itself looks pretty well ready to be used in source, its round and everything :-P
and im using that sound for my 1.3 one :-P
