Dont know if anyone has this in the pipeline, so I guess here is the place to post.
Is anyone able to make a hand fed belt for the MG's? similar to this (http://dodec.hlgaming.com/images/bhf_mg42.jpg) one by bots.
Dont know if it involves a full recompile of the skins, but if its possible (and if anyone does this can) get permission from Eevee for use of (his/her?) Dark MG42 (http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/6327) . And also using permission from 30Cal by BERSERK3R (http://dodcustomcontent.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=49#cat) to make into a hand fed 30cal.

*bump*
I know someone out there can do this.
This is such a sweet idea.

Nice, I know some are against the whole clog up the FOV ingame, but I think it looks quite neat with the belt being supported by the left hand with the right firing.

The animations would need to be redone or converted.
I wish I knew how to convert animations, still in the process of learning

The only problem is that the whole "fire with just one hand" thing is pretty much hollywood make-believe crap. NO where in any army anywhere do they teach you that. Firing a machine gun requires pretty much both hands actually on the weapon just to keep it from coming off of your shoulder and keep it on target. The weapon loads itself, it doesn't need help; the reason for the assistant gunner "feeding" the MG is to
1) make sure the belt does not get snagged on itself inside the box
2) break off the belt if the weapon starts to go runaway on the firer.
3) eyeball the belt for any clogged debris and clean it off before it goes in the gun.
4) give him something to do besides help carry equipment :)
That "firing with one hand while holding the belt for no reason" bugs me everytime I see it in the movies. And there is always at least one yahoo private at every range who tries this stunt and gets yelled at for not having both hands on the weapon

Aye I know that Wile E, and i'm all for the "realism" factor for the game, but until they make it so you have to have a 3 man mg42 crew, theres never any harm in eye candy ;) . I'm not blinded by the "Hollywood Crap" but it has to have its moments somewhere ;)
