Is there any models, which are excactly normal looking, but like faster loading or something. Just thinkin 'cos some players load their weapons so fast and they don't get busted for using modified models. Is this even right place to post my thread? :P

Reloading is coded into the game, not based on the animations of the models.

You've probably seen people who play so much they know the exact millisecond to push the fire key after a reload, so it seems like they're reloading faster.

But then why are custom weaponmodels aren't allowed if it's in the server?

Last time I checked, custom weapon models were allowed on most if not all servers.

In fact, I've never been on a server that didn't allow custom weapon models.

You can have custom models, but only the ones that are directly in front of you, like the v_models of the weapons.

But all the leagues and cup rules says that no custom models. I think that it means everything?

Leagues don't run the game... Leagues run leagues. That rule is so everyone is playing on a level playing field. People on pubs are free to use whatever custom models they want, provided they don't break sv_consistency restrictions.

What exactly are you asking anyway? I don't even know what you were trying to ask in your second post. :P

I mean that if custom models don't change nothing but what weapon looks like, why it is illegal in leagues. That's my point. If u don't understand then it's in my english prob. :P

There is probably more than one reason. You could get a smaller model for example that didn't take up as much of the screen. You could edit the animations to be less obstructive during draw and reload animations. You could reorigin the sniper rifle so it's easier to noscope. You could make it so there was no weapon at all so your view was completely unobstructed. Probably other stuff.

That and you could make a grid out of the models to tell the relative location of the enemy. :D

But only thing in v_ models is that noscope sniping because you can get your gun away from screen anyway. r_drawviewmodel 0
