...is it possible?? I tried entspy, it only listed entities (go figure):p

I would like to try different skybox textures without having to rebuild each time basically.

Valve wiki has tis to say (http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Sky_List):
"To test skies in singleplayer without recompiling the map, bring up the console and enter sv_skyname <sky_name>. Quicksave the game, load it again and the old skybox should be temporarily replaced with the new one."

Go to that page and see the list of skybox names.

Man all I feel like I do these days to help people are re-direct them to the valve wiki

This does not work in dod:s (no quicksave). Seems to be for HL2 only.

I think I saw it in some tutorial somewhere, do the sv_skyname thing then "map mapname" so it restarts the map; I think it works I can't remember if I've tried it or not
