I am a proud canadian DoD player, and I was hoping that some people could help me make a Brit to Canadian conversion pack.

I've already made Canadian - Team Selction Icon
- Class Selection Icons
- 80% of sprites
- 25% of splash
- 30% of HUD

I was looking for people to make (or find) a:

-flag model
-player models
-player sounds (could just be some custom ally sounds...)


If your Canadian or appreciate what would be a sweet, sweet pack, help me please.

Type "canadian" in the Models, Skins, and Animations forum search and you might found some skin models and other thing you are looking for or look the posts by Canuck...he released some good stuff for canada

Yeah, John Doe has made some amazing stuff there, can't wait!

Between his stuff and the skins that Canuck and I have done there should be something to suit you very soon.

Also, Agent~0 allured to an Official Canadian pack some time ago. But when that will come out, and how much of a 'total conversion' it will be are anyones guess.

I just need time to finish up my end of the work and look around (with everyones help please) for other Canadian things to add into it.

When this things done, It will be the most complete Canadian pack out there.

Which picture? I'm pretty sure all of the pictures that I used where Canadian:confused:

like the Rifleman, that guy looks like hes got an american helmet , and uniform on.

and hes holding an M1 garand.

As far as i know, the guy with the tommy gun is taken from a US war poster.

i love the brass band picture btw lol It looks class.

There has been a lot of work on a Canadian GFX and skins, however, as I had psoted in the sounds, forum I would like to see a Canadian sound pack.

Just today I was lookin' for canadian voice replacements, does anyone know if any exist at this point? Is John Doe making them to go into his pack? That would be AWEXOME!!!11!!

I'm VERY interested in getting ahold of a total Canadian conversion pack.

However, Habitat, I don't think that any of your pictures are appropriate for Canadian class selection.

(constructive criticism ahead)

Rifleman: Not Canadian. Has US uniform and gun.
Sniper: Using a gun and uniform not even close to being used in WWII. Looks to be more of a US Korea/early Vietnam setup.
Infantry: A US recruiting poster image.
Random Selection: An interesting idea, but you don't use horns in DOD. That is, unless someone makes a conversion set. A better idea would be to use something like a Battallion (or regimental) photo from one of the CFBs or an overseas pic.
Gunner: I have no idea what that is, but the British don't have any belt-fed guns in the game. There are plenty of Bren pictures you can find on google.

I can provide you with some more appropriate pictures if you'd like, PM me if you're interested. I really want to see this get taken care of but it has a ways to go IMO.

Didn't realize that most of my pictures weren't of Canadian origin.


I was looking for 'Canadian Sounds' and then it occured to me that WE don't sound much different than the sounds already in Allies. I thought that I would just add in the ally sounds from the BoB Sound Pack (a very good pack that I'm using right now) in for Canadians.

I'm currently redoing the team selection screens so that they are more acurate.

P.S I kinda liked the band picture...
