So here is my wip cobra commander for my gi joe & cobra skin project.

Comments like "this is great" are nice but since this skin must be as close to the character I'd like to have some comments on details etc if possible, if I just overlooked something or can change something to make it look better.

Things I am planning to work on are:
- Grey colored gear.
- Maybe a bigger cobra logo on front of uniform
- I might remove the cobra logo on the back of the uniform
- Make the sleeves under the uniform light blue like what you see underneath the uniform under the neck

border line hacks imo. Nice though for the look, but you'll never catch me using them.

Yeah that has crossed my mind too.
But I will finish all my skins (cobra and gi joe) though, and then I'll see what I'll do.

maybe desaturate a bit and make it darker, so it doesnt look so cartooney. awesome idea though.

Careful.. Back when I released my Cobra models the uniform was a darker blue, and I still took a lot of heat from the "that's cheating" crowd.. It's tough to get accuracy when Cobra Commander's uniform is a bright powder blue.. I say go darker to avoid the controversy, but otherwise keep at it.. :)

Yeah this skin is to bright, but I was just testing the colors, and it will be darker.
And then if it is darker you will see the player quite clear when it is very close to you cause in a larger distance or in a shadowed area it's still hard to see if its an Ally or Axis.

Yeah.. I noticed that too.. From a distance or in a darkened spot it's actually harder to see them..
