Round Win Music?

So I thought I'd change the round win music a bit. Easy enough, right? Just change the parameters of the control_point_master. Well there isn't any flag/switch to change to a different mp3 or wav file. The wiki says to use an output. Ok, that works, but the default song plays in addition to the one pointed to by the output logic. Is there any way around this? I really thought I saw a simple solution/switch somewhere - but that coulda been the night Capt'n Morgan and his rum showed up.

Cheers

could you not make it so that it stopsounds and then after a delay plays your music?

Yup you'd have to do what scat said, or have replace the defult sounds with custom.. or edit the game files, both of which would muck up the game for any other maps

O,

I changed the round win sound and it still plays the same darn one .

dod 1.3

So what do I do? so that anyone who connects to my server will hear the new wins.

Thanks

Stick it into a ziped .bsp under the same name of the defult win sound. It should replace the defult one and only be affected while running your map. Try it

Yeah if it is paked into your .bsp it will play only when your map is loaded without overwriting the client's files

that is what i did in hill_classic and fuhrung

I went to this other server on DOD 1.3 and they had cool round win songs.

Allies is a old 30's song and Axis is even nicer. changes things a bit...

So I take the roundend song and turn it into a BSP zip? -How do I do that?

Then I re-name the song so it will play on all my maps? Or do I some how put it inside the BSp map file?

Thanks guys!!

No, you use PAKRAT to add the music to the .bsp file
