OKAY

Let me state that it is NOT the wisest idea to apply a normalmap / bumpmap to every object in the Source world. Having said that, there were 2 models that I always ran into that just seemed too under-detailed, and ones that I always seem to see on most maps, and always close-up. I finally realised it wasn't becuase the skins were too lo-res. The only way I made them look better was to give them bumpmaps.

Doubtfull by anything you'd notice. The thing it can hurt is your fps. Thats why he stated this..

So if your rig isnt on the high end side, you may not want to use these.

Just try em out. If your fps drop a lot, delete them.

Yeah, that's the only thing keeping me from downloading these.

As usual, great job Wile E. I'll keep an eye on this in case I can update my comp in the future.

yeah I've been testing them 2 days, not absolutely sure but I think they are slowing me down a noticable bit - I have a really old rig.

Then again I've already been accused of hacking twice in the last 2 days so it must not be that bad after all :D

newer computers should munch these like cornflakes though.
