This is a whitish/grey impact puff for bullet hits. There's still blood, but the white bit is mixed in.
It's a test, the main problem is the white puff doesn't fade properly. But i don't really mind that too much. It's pretty subtle so screenshots don't really show it properly. Here's a screenshot anyway, you can sort of see a greylike puff there somewhere. If you can't well i'm sorry i can't help.

The file to change is blood_core.vtf in the source_materials gcf file under effects. I made it smaller and different because if you use the default and make it white it looks like this, quite pants.
