This creates a red-dot (or whatever colour you want) cross hair... just add these lines to your cfg file/ or edit whats allready there... the important line is the bottom one

cl_crosshair_red "255"
cl_crosshair_green "0"
cl_crosshair_blue "0"
cl_crosshair_alpha "200"
cl_crosshair_file "crosshair3"
cl_crosshair_scale "4.0"
