is there anyway that I can change the color of the smoke ingame. Not the smoke say coming from buring tanks and rockets. But the smoke from smoke nades. Is this possible? Do I just have to change some numbers in the file?

It's hardcoded I think, it's not possible to change it.

I think it has consistency checking on it now. That smoke gren vtf is used for a lot of things. The actual smoke grenade, some blood puffs when you shoot people and the impact puffs on walls.
