Shaping Overlays

As you can see in this screenshot, the overlays are specially shaped rather than rectangular.

How do I do this?

when you place the overlay, there should be 4 little white cubes in the 3d view, one on eacher corner of the overlay, if there isnt, click the overlay tool and select the overlay entity box on the map itself, move em around as you like and there you go
