The scaling on the texture could be smaller, but you won't notice ingame, besides its better than no texture there, it helps make the cloth seem more clothlike, what material were the uniforms anyways, cotton?

Yes, the M1942 paratrooper uniform was cotton twill, which, as you can see here (http://img487.imageshack.us/img487/5564/usunim42jktmain4fq.jpg) , does not have a noticable fabric texture. (Photo borrowed from www.atthefront.com)

I think the cloth looks that way because he has no mip-maps on this skin. If the skin had mip-maps, it would probably look more realistic.

Great skin. Don't bother with the GmoD screenies though, get a bit of practise with it and produce something of a higher quality as a preview.
