Well, I got a couple requests for this bad lad, and
decided to make it after being bored, again lol. I
think I might use this for a while instead of my
82nd Airborne skins. I know you Band of Brothers
fans will appreciate this one :D

This is basically a re re reskin lol. I reskinned Cruz's
101st Airborne to make it an 82nd Paratrooper, and
now i am reskinning my 82nd to make it 101st again :eek:

- This skin base was originally made by Cruzaderazn.

- The face comes from Wile E Coyote's Pvt. Joseph Skin.

- The hands also come from Wile E's Pvt. Joseph skin.

- Put the 101st Airborne Screamin Eagle patch on the sleeve.

- Added the 506th Regiment Easy Company Spade on the helmet.

- Redid the face to give it a look of worn-off face paint.

- Recolered the whole jump uniform.

- Recolered the helmet, jump boots, hands, face, hair, etc.

Somehow I forgot to flip the Screamin Eagle patch around
before putting it on the sleeve, so yeah, I fixed it, if you want

Hey its going to face the wrong way no mater what. And very very very very nice skin im dl!:D

dl takes like 1 hour :o said 6 sec then went up to 25 min and hasnt moved for like 30 min :rolleyes:

Do these guy have mohawks like the other 101st skins?

EDIT: I know you just released them but will there be an update to fix the patch so it faces the right way, and will there be sleeves? sorry if I sound like an ass with all these questions.

Patch is always wrong on the left sleeve no matter what.
Valve set up the models to have "mirrored" sleeves, the body
vtf has only 1 sleeve in it, the other is mirrored, hence the backwards Screamin Eagle :)

I included sleeves, they are the same as my 82nd Airborne,
but with the color matching these soldiers jump jackets ;)

And finally, I didnt give them mohawks....
I'm personally not a big fan of the mohawks, plus it would
make the game look like a punk concert with all the mohawks
everywhere :eek:

It is facing the "A," but the whole thing is backwards. The left side should be facing the right way no matter what, it's the right side that faces the wrong way. Though, in realistic terms, there should be a right patch to begin with; the model does have its restrictions.

I dunno Wile, filefront used to be a great site for me, nice speeds, no lines etc, but recently no matter ow many mirrors i try, it seems that any file over 5mb will start at 250kbs then drop to 25kbs, then just freeze up:( I dont know what it is, i try it with both firefox and IE5, both with no joy. Then we come to the rapidshare links, if you are behind a router, those are useless. Always tells me i have d/loaded the file 40 times previously:/

the vtf, which makes one side [the right] right and one
side [left] backwards, hence the term "mirror image" ;)

I persevered, took me 1hr 7mins, but i got them, and I like them a lot;)

Yes, i know that but in other 101st airborne skins have the beak of the eagle facing foward.

The other arm is the one with the beak facing
forward, the one in the screeny shows the mirrored
patch, which makes the beak face that way :carrot:
