Ok, I know you all probably get a lot of these but I need help and I figured this was the place to come to.
I have read like almost all of the documentation about mapping in Source and all that good stuff, but what I haven't found is a tutorial on building a DoD:S map. Is there anywhere that you guys know of that gives a complete or even partial rundown on how to create a first DoD:S map?
If not could someone point me in the right direction of a good beginners tutorial?
Thanks in advance for all the help.

My initial advice would be to just find tutorials on making your fist HL2/HL2 DM/CS:S map. More likely to be good tutorials for these than for DOD:S, and the process is exactly the same except for placement of flags etc. which you can add at a later point.
Good tutorial sites:

Loads more, try google

wooot.
Our tut is DoD:S flag capping:
http://www.mardymouse.co.uk/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=57
interlopers DoD:S one is cool as well:

All the other map stuff is down to you. Buildings, models (Tanks, trees, doors, windows, stuff like that), water, sky, sounds, materials ... etc.
Flag capping is what a DoD:S map is about, until we figure out objective based stuff :sheep:
