I was wondering if one of the talented modelers out there could do an Axis model with the German WW1 helmets. The reason I ask is I would like to do some Finnish skins and they used many of these types of helmets. I can do them with the current helmets but these would make it better :)

Yes I mean the trench helmet. And it has the Swastika on it because it was painted that way for use by a Fin in WW2, which is what I would want the models/skins to re-create.

Make one with a spike ontop! ;)

This doesn't look all that bad. I'm backed up on a couple projects already, or I would do it myself.

you guys do know that the swastica is a good luck symbol right? if it was seen anywhere prior to WW2 (because the swastica was the NAZI party symbol and its true meaning tarnished by hitlers atrocities) it was meant for good luck. but it was probobly rare that it was seen on any WW1 helmets. but im not surprised to see it painted on their, weather someone did it recently, or the original soldier who owned it previously did.


Btw, i smell a WW1 pack coming.... i dident think anyone cared, mabey i should resurect the WW1 allied guy i made... :o

Or it could have been in use with Hitler in Munich. You're marching into a Communist rifle line, I'd think if you had a helmet you'd wear it:D
