Well its been a couple of weeks since I started this map and I think i should show some work to get feedback. This will be a push-like forest map, where the allies start in a town and work thier way capturing objectives in the forest.
Here are some screenshots. Rough critiquing welcome.
EDIT: Forgot to make into thumbnails.

The city screen looks really nice. BTW Does your FPS drop in the forest area??
Words cannot describe the beauty of this map.
I recommend building up the snow around the base of the trees to give the appearance of roots or put in some snow drifts (depending on how deep the snow is supposed to be). Right now the trees look like candles stuck in a cake.

Thanks for the comments guys.
And sheeprider, the FPS in the woods, is higher than in the village.
In the village I get a lowest of 40-45 FPS while in the forest I get 80.

Nice forest and placement of props. I look forward to this map. Looks like it takes place in the Hurtgen or Ardennes.. :p

Allies start in the town and Axis in the forest? Whats the world coming too when Allies get to start in the nicer place. I like the concept. Look forward to the map. Blue ftw.

Just for clarification, the town only takes up a small portion of the map.

Looks great dude. If not the best forest scenery I've seen, it's up there at the top.
I notice its pretty sunny out, have you thought about making it a little gloomy w/ some snow? If the map fps can handle it, that'd be a good atmospheric addition IMO, especially in the forest.
In pic 2, can you fire that gun? Like the 88 in dod_smallhill? Or is it a flak cannon?

Simply beautiful. I like the "cold" feeling. Cause that's important... considering it's a snow map. :p
