I just wanted to say hello to all of the other fellow mappers. I just finished creating my third full map and now am gonna convert it to Source. I'm downloading the Source SDK at the moment.

Maps: dod_vajta, dod_tntball and dod_pillars.

Vajta took me 5 months (I tooked a break for few days), Roughly 250 hours of mapping (going through several revisions along the way) and I learned alot along the way. It's intended for 6-12 people on a server. I wanted a medium-sized map for the servers that can draw people in and provide lots of action with 3-4 people per side with 2-3 sec respawn times. I get goosebumps playing my map as I see the other players are really enjoying it and I think to myself (wow, I done a good map if people are enjoying it.) At that moment I found out that this is what I wanted to do for a hobby.

Nice to meet all of you.

Nice to see another mapper join our ranks! ;)

If you're gonna use those map names, I recommend you get the names reserved (so it's not taken by someone else) in this thread:

Hi Crazyhorce, welcome to the mapping section and good luck with your maps. If you could post some screenshots of your work in progress that would be great.
