I was inspired by another colt skin on the forums to put together my own silver reskin. All together I think the skin turned out quite well. I hope you all enjoy it.

I also forgot to mention earlier, I am also accepting requests for this skin - if you want a gold plated one, or some other color or hue - so just let me know.

Edits:
-Wood reskin; made the wood darker and added a gloss touch.
-Metal reskin; made the metal brighter and changed the hue to a platinum finish.
-Added scratches and dirt.
-Increased the resolution by 200% (2048*2048)

I decided to stick with the wood, that way it wouldn't look too expensive for a regular soldier to carry.

I'll make a gold plated one for fun later today.

Donald Burgett had a nickle plated .45, he got sent from his father.

he was in 101st AB 506th A.Coy, so i spose its almost the same?

the download now includes the w_colt.vtf skin - i forgot to add that last time - so redownload it if your pack didn't come with it :D

Incredible skin, though. I'm using it and I love it.

I used to have a custom colt way back when..3.1 days I think.

It was solid black and had pearl handles. It was pretty cool.

Good work on this one. I'll give it a go for a change of pace from the standard.
