Someone please make a port of the map caen, or caen2. Caen is my favorite map of any videogame of all time and i think it would be perefectly suited for source.

I'm sure someone in the community will make it eventually.

All of the American versions of Caen rocked and there were many 24/7 servers. It all went down hill when the British were added and the map was reworked. It was a bad move that ruined a great map.

If they sourcified an earlier American version of Caen we would have another great map to play.

Give us back the Bird house, the Bank and Kmart!! A longtime Dod player would be familiar with those building names. :D

i think Someth|ngW|cked is going to do a version.

i've got a half textured port, but i only did it as an experiment and i'm certainly not going to release it, even if i had permission from Waldo or Helvan, which i don't.

also i've go to say, having done it, a straight port doesn't do it justice, it needs to be fully remade and sourcified.
