I just started a new mod called Battle for Europe

here is what it is about

Battle For Europe Mod- A DoD: Source™ modification featuring multiplayer and singleplayer, team-based game play set in the WWII Europian theatre of operations. The game takes all the unique features of the classic DoD game and expands it
The mod will include will include historic correct wepons and names,

and will feature French and Italian Player Classes and New Wepons , Player Classes and

sounds to inhance the game along with realism.


Well anyway The Team is looking for some talented modelers
to make Player and Wepon Models for the mod so
if you are interested post in the Help Wanted Section of the
Mod Fourms.

Are you anything to do with the BFE tournament? Cos if not this'll get confusing...

We have already released a mod of our own in the BFE tournmanent. We are currently in the final phases of beta and we will have it in place for the the first battle of our first source campaign in 2-3 weeks from now.

I suggest you change your name since you just started, because, regarldess of us having a mod, BFE in terms of DOD has been a "registered trademark" of the BFE tournament for 4 years now. Other wise there is bound to be confusion.

I am not 100% sure but I think that the owners (MyInterenetServices who took over from the original owner MFOTS) have a legal copyright of the name as well when it comes to the DOD scene.
