[MREL] Bots MG42-MG34 512x512 Skins, Sounds, Transparency, 2Krauts MG P_Models

Ok. I'd noticed No one had yet to do a proper job of converting Bots MG42 and MG34. So, far all we'd had was either Bots skins shrunk to 256 and applied to the default models, or someone who did a half-assed job. And no P models yet.
So, I went and did it myself. I slightly retinted the MG42, I was never into that whole brown thing. I added the transparency myself, in super cool neon green!!
Inshort, these are perfect. No cropped textures. Meshes aligned correctly. No clipping errors on the transparency. Plus, the added bonus of Bot's sounds from his qc file.
The P models were 2Krauts, converted with model fixes by me, as well as Bot's textures, and the Handle is using retinted versions of Ajjer62nd's STG44 skin, and I hacked Mixels old STG44 stock skin onto 2Krauts stock, cause the wood looks damn fine. And I was never a plastic fan, it didnt match Bot's skin.

Oh, and if you're using SS v4 (http://dodec.dodstudios.net/forum/viewthread.php?tid=99) I got tired of the shiny bullet chain on the Machine Gunners body, so I placed Bots bullet skin over the one SSv4 used, so you can swap it out in hlmv.

Just downloaded these and viewed them in HLMV, the weapons don't have textures applied to them and the hands have the right textures, but they are applied to many times :p I don't know if it may be just me...

I think you jsut fuxked up totally. Try downlaoding these again, or try them ingame, your HLMV might be screwed up.

Yeah they work in HL, HLMV just doesn't want to view 512x512 textures for some reason. It replaces them with a completely white skin, though when I extract it the correct one is there...wierd.
Good job with this release btw!

make sure the 'Render' tab has 'textured' selected, not flat or smooth shaded...

Uhh, Bish thats not what im talking about. If I had a model with both 512x512 and 256x256, the 512x512 would be replaced with white while the 256x256 would remain.

hmmm there r no bullet shells flying out when you shoot, and im sure i didnt disable them. perhaps you didnt setup the attachments on the model right?
i was gonna do this next but oh well.

Nope. see attachements on both, and the qc doesnt control brass ejection. You must have disabled them or something.

I just tried it. No shells. I wonder why. Ill go have a look at the defaults and see if those work. maybe it WAS the qc.

I don't mean to bother you, but..fileplanet is giving me errors for the first time. is there another mirror?
and...I hate to say all the time. Original reload sounds were made by me, and used by bots superb models.

Tydus, you didnt read very well. I said i'd updated the zip with the distant sounds thing.
And i just tried that link I posted half way down page 2, it works for me.
