I wanted to know if anyone is working on a cell shaded/cartoon dod:s pack? im tyring my damndest to mimick cell shading on the gun models and player models but frankly it takes alot of time..and im not sure if im doing it right, so is anyone working on anything like htis? i think it would be pretty cool for a change. i've got some pretty good v_models done but if anyone has player skins, or map skins that are like this that'd be cool! thanks!

Wow, I've never even thought of this as a possible thing to do. very interesting idea to say the least, but sorry, i have no idea what you're supposed to do.

so if no one else is working on this/ wants too....im almost done w/ my weapon models and player models......(v at least) ....and i'd like to get one whole map's textures to match for funssies....can anyone give me the list of textures for flash or kalt so they arent so hard to figure out which one is which???? thanks!
ps or please please please if somone knows a faster way ....cell/cartoonize a map for me! thanks!!!!

Ok, I saw this thread, and it reminded me muchly about how I wanted to do this with DoD(non-source). So, I decided to be ambitious(sp?) and just re-do the entire materials folder from the gcf.
Here is how it turned out...

Yea...that does suck...you could probably trace a wide black brush on the skins, where the model lines are, but it would take a ton of work to get it all to line up correctly...far more time than I have to do with it :p

,,,,cant wait. btw...Im gonna throw it in here because im sooooo excited / scared...i am 95 percent getting my teen dream car (2000 camaro z28...oooo) in a day or two if they fix this bog down problem we had on the test drive...does anyone know anything about a car if it is bogging down between gears....but once it gets up to 55 it runs smooth...i hope they can fix it easily so i get it....and i want htese! but..not as much! lawl!

They did this (http://csnation.net/skins/view_skin.php?id=5194) with CS 1.6 but it used custom models to get it to actually be cel-shaded from any angle (twice the polies though). There's also one for CS:S (http://cel-strikemod.punkassfraggers.com) but since it can't use custom models it just doesn't look the same.
