Please comment.
Is a nice skin, my only complaint is that the helmet is very dark, need more detail. The rest is fine.

All this stuff leeched for your education :) Research - it is your best friend when skinning
And an FYI to all reading - yeah everyone knows that airborne didn't use leggings - not much that can be done about it, it's part of the model. However the pockets can be drawn into the skin and camo netting as well on the helmets
The M1942 Paratrooper uniform was the standard issue uniform for airborne troops from 1942 until the Fall of 1944 when it was replaced by the M1943 field uniform.

They also came in Olive Drab (OD) M43 uniforms with extra pockets sewn on the legs. However, these were not issued out until the fall of 1944, months after D-Day
Rigger-Modified M1943 Field Trousers:
Field trousers as modified for Paratrooper use. Heavy O.D. canvas cargo pockets and leg ties were added to allow more ammunition to be carried on airborne operations. (Yes, these are identical to the standard trousers, with the addition of legs ties and pockets). As with originals, the pocket material is coarser and heavier than that of the trousers. Order your normal waist size! Trousers are already oversized like originals. (About 3 inches larger than marked.)

Adding onto Wile's post. If you need or want an image of the uniform from any imaginable angle, I have a full one here for ya (except for a damn belt and boots. )

Custom models are not yet allowed in Source and may not be. People are not lazy, why spend countless hours making models which you can not use.
You can use it but the server must be sv_consistency 0.
At least in Cs_source

Player Models can not be done. There would be 50 new player models by now if it were allowed.

If they don't enforce model consistency, cheaters can do various things like add huge spikes to the model so they know when somone is coming OR they can mess with hitboxes to make it easier to hit opponents. Keep in mind a hacked model is completely undetectable by anti-hack programs; the solution was to enforce model consistency through the game engine.
And for those of you not playing long enough to remember the days before model consistency, well, I for one am GLAD to put up with it!

Yes, pants need to be the same color as the jacket. I wish we could use custom models, I'd *coughforcecough* someone into modeling a full 101st airborn uniform with the added on pouches and leg/elbow protectors.:D

allright,
since this has gotten off-track, a little DOD review:
DOD (regular) originally had just american infantry and german infantry. It was YEARS later (literally) that they added the PARA models and eventually the british models.
originally the PARA (short for paratroopers) were only to be used in "para" maps and had "para" weapons instead of regular ones, but later that changed to any old DOD map used them as long as the mapmaker coded it to use para models instead of regular ones.
The Brits have always been surrounded in controversy. Not because they're Brits - but because of the limited weapon classes. Some people just can't stand the 4 weapon classes and no MG. Others love it, the Enfield being accurate as the K98 and twice as many shots; I personally can be pretty devistating running and gunning with the Bren.
This is just the beginning of DOD: Source. None-the-less the controversy was so great I don't expect to see Brits anytime soon, however I wouldn't be surprised if the "para" type models make a comeback in the future - it's a no-brainer. They are insanely popular.

I found this site and had the 101st Airborn, they are the Screaming Eagles. It's be cool to have the 506th and different faces. I don't like the face paint or the hair. Still cool thought for the Airborn skin. Mabey this would be a good start. Just my two cents.
