I would love to see The Matrix models for DoD.

Neo/Morpheus/etc = allies
Agent Smith = Axis (ALL THE AXIS)
Whatever else = Brits.


That would be great: I could bind a key to say "You're Empty" before pistoling someone.

I would use it. And it would be half the work of regular skins, since all the axis would look exactly alike.

That is if a modeler/meshes/skinner would take maybe 2 days of their life to create completely pointless models, which I doubt anyone would.

are u kidding? of course they would! That would be awesome!:D I've seen really crappy skins before, so if you're saying they wouldn't take hte time ot make some MATRIX skins you're kididng yourself! I bet some ppl would actually use them! Except I think this would fit bettter with CS than dod! just because cs is based on modern times, that's all!:rolleyes:

Not necessarily... I like the DoD for it's gameplay, not because it's WW2 based... That is why I had made some G.I. Joe vs Cobra models for 3.1... It's about the good fight for me... not the atmosphere...

I stand 100% behind people's ideas/wishes for custom content.. It makes their game all that much more fun for them...

some one can do one of two things

1. go DL the "existance" mod and have some matrix fun of their own

or

2.Convert the existance mod player models to DOD and be limited to the DOD standards, that is unless the admin reduces the gravity or something. =\

A year or 2 ago when i was playing cs there was a matrix pack out for it.

in the game there are vampires and you... stab them. i dont remember any in the movie though

Novelty models are fun. At one point I was playing with cows, zebras, Boba Fett, Darth Vader, and tigers!

Yes, there are "vampires" in The Matrix Reloaded. Persephone says, "But my husband kept them because they are notoriously hard to kill. After all, who keeps their gun loaded with silver bullets?" She then shoots one and he falls over dead.

And remember earlier in the movie when the Oracle says that ghosts, vampires, etc. are programs that are doing other than what they are supposed to be doing.

On that line of thought, there are Vamps in the Game (You stake 'em to kill 'em), but I think the two guys (Cain and Abel IIRC) are Werewolves (at least, that's the impression I got from the silver bullet thing). ;)

If you want Matrix models, I suggest you go play "Existence" - which is a great Half-Life mod that's already been released based around the Matrix.

Existence is the coolest unheard of mod there ever has been. Seriously. I love that game. Go play it it has matrix people and many cool guns, and it owns counter-strike (as if that was hard to do.)
