Hammer Editor
Fixed move_rope not having correct default value and empty choices list.
Fixed sporadic crash creating move_rope entities.
Fixed infinite error dialogs when entering invalid values into the arch creation dialog.
Fixed rendering views after map was loaded and Hammer is not the active application.
Fixed status bar showing incorrect length values if bounding box is invalid.
Block tool starts new brush only if mouse was dragged, not on single click.
Fixed navigation keys in vertex tool if no vertex is selected for nudging.
Fixed 2D option "Default to 15 degree rotations", if disabled rotation doesn't snap.
Fixed VGUI windows setting default arrow cursor if they lose focus.
Fixed Hammer loading maps as start parameter, also parameters like "-dxlevel 81" work again.
Added option for user-specified autosave directory to fix Hammer trying to save to read only media.
Fixed parent visgroup incorrectly reflecting child's visibility.
SDK Launcher
Fixed the progress bar coming up every time the SDK launcher is run.
Redirected all URLs to point to developer.valvesoftware.com
Compile Tools
Removed the report of XBox data size for non-XBox compile tools.
Fixed build_sample_shaders failing to find Steam.dll.

does anybody else have the issue when using the arrow keys in 2d view, it goes black? basically shows empty space within the grid.

noticed last night that when I'm in vertex manip mode, I cannot use the arrow keys to scroll in the views. Haven't seen the problem Neutrino mentions exactly.

Model viewer takes a little longer to load i'm finding. :rolleyes:

Source Engine SDK Update Released

A major update to the Source SDK has been released on Steam. Included in this update are several features and fixes for the tools in the Source SDK.

New SDK Features

High Dynamic Range lighting now supported in the tools

Day of Defeat: Source support now included

New Hammer Editor features:

VGUI Model browser with real-time 3D view

Map autosave/backup

Model and displacement rendering in 2D views

Many other small improvements and bug fixes

That means were going to see final releases of anvil etc?

Basically the SDK has come out of beta now I take it. Shame there still bugs in it though!!

I like the new updates. Doesn't exactly run that fast, but Hammer is a lot more stable and hasn't crashed on me once yet.

Anyone find any major bugs that isn't widely know, please post.
